An appeal has been launched after a woman was sexually assaulted on a train from the Peak District. Detectives are investigating the attack on board the service from Matlock to Nottingham on September 30.
British Transport Police said the victim boarded the train at Duffield railway station, in Derbyshire, at around 4.45pm. While walking through the carriage, she walked past a group of three on the train.
As she walked past, it was reported one man went on to sexually assault the young woman before then making an inappropriate comment. He later got off the service in Nottingham.
Anyone with information is being urged to contact the force immediately amid ongoing investigations.
