Inquest proceedings to establish the circumstances of how two railway maintenance workers came about their deaths have begun. Gareth Delbridge, aged 64, from Kenfig Hill, and Michael Allan Lewis, 58, from North Cornelly, were carrying out maintenance on the track when they were struck by a Swansea to London passenger service on July 3, 2019.
At Swansea's Guildhall on Monday, a pre-inquest review hearing was held into their deaths. It saw discussions take place between legal representatives over evidence and the course that the full inquest will take.
Assistant coroner Edward Ramsay has now adjourned
