Hutto City Council members voted 4-3 to terminate an interlocal agreement between the city and school district Nov. 20, with some city officials saying that the vote came as the partnership was "not working."

"I personally feel the interlocal gives the ISD more than what the law allows them to have. ... Whether I'm wrong or right, the best thing to do is, instead of having all this gray area ... is we terminate it, they put their things through the city as they normally would; the city would treat them like they would anybody else," Hutto Mayor Mike Snyder said.
