'Do not eat' warning issued on Tesco salad product as item recalled over allergen risk

An urgent recall has been issued on a salad product sold at Tesco due to an allergen risk. Tesco is recalling its Celery, Fruit and Nut Salad because it contains mustard which is not mentioned on the label.

This means the product is a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy to mustard. The specific batch affected is 300g in size, with an expiration date of December 2, 2025. Anyone who has bought the product who has an allergy to mustard is asked not to consume the product and return it to the store it was purchased from.
