LOUISVILLE, Ky. —

A man facing two counts of murder in a deadly shooting on Derby day was in court on Monday.

Reggie Raheem, 28, was indicted for two counts of murder in connection to a shooting in the parking lot of a Kroger on May 3.

Police say they arrived at the Kroger at 28th Street and Broadway around 2:10 a.m. and found a man and a woman who had been shot. They were both taken to the hospital, where they died.

There was a third victim taken to the hospital by private means, but Raheem is not charged with shooting them. LMPD says they are still searching for that suspect.

During Raheem's arraignment on Monday, a judge set his bond at $500,000.

He is set to be back in court in January.
