KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) - A children’s home in Sevier County that helps to get kids out of abuse and neglect received a surprise donation.
The horses and cattle are a part of the peacefulness that brings hope to kids taken out of bad situations when they come to live on Wears Valley Ranch.
It also gives them structure while they live and complete school before graduation.
“Some take longer than 18 to graduate because they come from trauma and they need to be here because of a very difficult situation that they didn’t create. These are not juvenile delinquent children,” said Lisa Radmore with Wears Valley Ranch.
“I want to bring up Wears Valley Ranch,” said Paula Deen as she called members of the ranch on stage at her Lumberjack Feud Show in Pigeon Forge.
