CHICAGO (WLS) -- A man accused of killing his wife in a South Loop high-rise last year is pleading guilty to contempt of court in a Michigan courtroom.

Adam Beckerink admitted he showed up drunk to an urgent care visit in June, violating his bond.

He is already serving three months in Michigan for domestic violence against his wife, Caitlin Tracey.

The judge gave him up to 36 days in jail, but it runs at the same time as his current sentence, so it adds no extra jail time.

Beckerink is also charged with Tracey's murder in Chicago.

His Chicago attorneys say he is still weighing his options and has not waived extradition back to Illinois.
