Bishop Eustace Prep is getting back on the mat.
Disbanded after the 2014-15 season, the Crusaders have plans to relaunch the program on a modified basis this winter with an eye on returning to a full varsity status for the 2026-27 season.
The school made the announcement on Facebook last week.
“We are thrilled to welcome wrestling back to Bishop Eustace,” athletic director Michael McGinn said in the Facebook post. “This program has a long tradition of discipline, grit and excellence, and we are excited to provide new opportunities for our student-athletes to grow through the sport.”
The school said it will announce coaches and sign-up opportunities in the coming months.
