(WNDU) - Nine Indiana state lawmakers have been targeted with swatting incidents and threats after Senate President Pro Tem Rodric Bray announced there were not enough votes to pass redistricting .

The chairs of both the Indiana Republican and Democratic parties released a joint statement condemning the incidents. “Threats of political violence and intimidation on elected officials have no place in Indiana,” the statement said. “As chairs of the Indiana Republican and Democratic Parties, we condemn the recent attempted swatting attacks against them.”

Last Friday, Indiana State Sen. Linda Rogers (R-Granger) said she was the victim of several intimidation incidents . Eight Indiana state senators and Gov. Mike Braun have confirmed they became targets of threats.
