CLEVELAND, Ohio — Authorities say a woman intentionally set her vehicle on fire Sunday at Edgewater Park.
Cleveland Metroparks police and Cleveland firefighters responded to the park about 2:10 p.m. after receiving a report that a vehicle was burning on the Kite Field.
“It appears the owner of the vehicle intentionally started the fire,” said Jacqueline Gerling, spokeswoman for Cleveland Metroparks. The woman was later taken to a hospital.
Authorities did not release the woman’s identity or information about what led to the incident. It remains unclear whether anyone else was injured or whether the woman will face charges.
