The Ontario Provincial Police has laid multiple drug-trafficking charges after a raid on a Smooth Rock Falls home turned up an estimated $50,000 worth of illicit drugs.
Members of the OPP’s North East Region Community Street Crime Unit, assisted by officers from the James Bay detachment, executed a search warrant at a residence of Fifth Street, on Nov. 20.
Officers seized suspected crystal methamphetamine and cocaine, along with scales and packaging materials.
One person was arrested and charged with possession of Schedule I substances for the purpose of trafficking.
