WFAN will have a new nighttime host after Keith McPherson announced he was stepping down from his full-time role, ending a four-year run in the time slot.
McPherson made the 58-second video announcement on social media Monday, saying he wanted to be first to share the news before anyone else could give a different slant on his decision.
“I’m officially done as the nighttime host at WFAN,” McPherson said. “It has been four calendar years. Friday was my last nighttime show as the full-time nighttime host. I may be back to do some nights. I may be back to do some part-time and fill-in spots. But I’m breaking the news. You’ll hear it right from the horse’s mouth, the host’s mouth, before anybody else can hijack the story and say I was fired or my contract was up. I wasn’t fired. I’m not
