LAKE CHARLES, La. (KPLC) - If storms don’t weaken before they reach the Sabine River we may see a few storms overnight.
But the majority of the computer models show the storms in Texas weakening as they approach the state line. The timing of these storms would be anytime after 10 pm Monday through sunrise Tuesday morning. If storms do not weaken then they may bring all modes of severe weather to SWLA.
A cold front will move through Tuesday morning bringing a slight drop in temperatures. A second and much stronger cold front will arrive Wednesday, this front will be colder weather just in time for Thanksgiving day.
The cool down will be short-lived as southerly winds return Friday and this will bring clouds and possibly some rain back to the area by Saturday.
