(KY3) - No doubt it’s the most wonderful time of the year to find a seasonal job, but beware.

A woman in Yellville, Ark., discovered the Grinch hangs out on job listing websites. She tells On Your Side she’s still looking for work and dealing with ID theft.

“I’m really gutted emotionally from the whole experience,” said Melanie Bothell. “I don’t know where to go from here.”

Melanie Bothell was searching for a job. She thought she found a work-from-home gig, but it was a bogus listing on Indeed.

“I have all these documents. Everything looked perfectly legitimate,” she said.

Bothell applied. And had a remote interview.

“I thought it was a little strange that they didn’t want to be on camera. It was all text. It was all Teams,” she said.

She filled out her W-4, employment eligibility,
