Aer Lingus has issued a redundancy notice that puts over 200 staff members at Manchester Airport at risk of losing their jobs, according to union Unite. The figure includes 150 cabin crew members.
In a statement issued on Monday, Unite accused Aer Lingus of not providing any evidence to support its claim that the airline's operation at Manchester Airport was "underperforming".
