A semitruck driver is in jail over what the Wyoming Highway Patrol is calling a road rage incident in which the driver shot at a pickup truck multiple times on Interstate 80, roughly 20 miles east of Rawlins last Thursday.
In a statement released late Monday, the Wyoming Highway Patrol (WHP) says troopers noted a bullet hole in the pickup truck's front passenger side door and learned that a child was in the back seat of the vehicle.
“Fortunately, no one was injured during the incident,” the statement reads.
The agency says the pickup was westbound on Interstate 80 at around mile marker 236 and was passing the semitruck.
