ASHBURN, Va. — The Washington Commanders haven’t had a lot go the way it was supposed to this year, but the bye week appears to have gone to plan at least.
With quarterback Jayden Daniels returning to practice this week, receiver Terry McLaurin continuing to work his way back, and receiver Noah Brown, safety Will Harris, and defensive end Drake Jackson all in their 21-day windows to return from injured reserve, even though not all of them will be back this weekend, there’s an air of rejuvenation coming out of the bye week.
In a one-on-one with WUSA9’s John Doran, Washington head coach Dan Quinn says the presence of these returning players invigorates the team in “a lot of ways. It makes every practice even that much more competitive when everybody can ramp up a little bit to go. And then
