FARGO — Fargo will continue to broadcast public comment at its City Commission meetings, but leaders plan to review policy that could limit topics to business pertinent to the city.

The commission took no action Monday, Nov. 24, that would have changed how the city livestreams meetings. That means full City Commission meetings will air on Channel 56, YouTube and other social media platforms.

The announcement reverses a decision Mayor Tim Mahoney and city staff made to not broadcast public comments. Mahoney said at the end of the Nov. 10 commission meeting that the city would stop livestreaming comments from residents.
