MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) - There are efforts all across our area helping those who are struggling with hunger.

One of those efforts is happening at Oregon High School. WMTV’S 2024 Crystal Apple Award recipients is leading the charge, Mike Derrick, who is an art teacher.

The high school will be hosting a Gallery Gala for its 14th Share the Season Photo Challenge.

Organizers said the gallery will take place from 5:30p.m.-8p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 18 at the high school.

In collaboration with the gallery, they will be hosting a food drive.
