NEW YORK -- Igor Shesterkin made 19 saves and the New York Rangers ended a four-game losing streak, defeating the St. Louis Blues 3-2 at Madison Square Garden on Monday.
Vincent Trocheck , Alexis Lafreniere and Adam Edstrom scored for Rangers (11-11-2), won for the second time in 10 home games (2-7-1). Vladislav Gavrikov and Adam Fox each had two assists.
Dylan Holloway and Brayden Schenn each scored for the Blues (7-10-6), who had a three-game point streak come to an end. Joel Hofer made 17 saves.
Holloway gave the Blues a 1-0 lead at 17:36 of the first period.
He stripped the puck from Taylor Raddysh behind the Rangers net and set up in the left face-off circle. Philip Broberg got the puck back to Holloway, who scored with a wrist shot through Raddysh's legs and over
