The New York Mets shook up the deck this week when they traded Brandon Nimmo and his $19.25 million salary to the Texas Rangers for Marcus Semien, who is set to make $26 million next season.
That's even more money added to the Mets' already high payroll. But New York, which now seemingly has an excess of players at second base, might not be done. Jeff McNeil is reportedly available and could be the next Met to go.
However, the Mets have some bigger players to worry about first.
