Months removed from his retirement, Bruce Pearl will be back with Auburn basketball when it faces No. 6 Michigan on Tuesday, Nov. 25, in the Players Era Festival. Kind of.

Pearl, who joined TNT's in-studio crew in October, will be a guest analyst for the network's coverage of the Tigers and Wolverines in Las Vegas, which tips off at 7:30 p.m. CT. Auburn 's Sweet 16 rematch with Michigan comes after beating Oregon 84-73 on Monday, Nov. 24.

Pearl retired rather suddenly on Auburn's first day of practice, Sept. 22. He spent 11 seasons on the Plains, leaving with a 246-125 record. Pearl's final record after three-plus decades as a college basketball head coach was 708-269.
