The Vancouver Whitecaps’ visit to the MLS Western Conference final will come on the road.
Top-seeded San Diego FC got a goal from Anders Dreyer in the 72nd minute Monday night and it stood up as the winner a 1-0 victory over No. 4 Minnesota – which means the first-year San Diego sides hosts No. 2 Vancouver Saturday at Snapdragon Stadium (6 p.m.).
A Minnesota win would have meant Vancouver was the host team Saturday.
