City Teams Up With the West Hollywood Bicycle Coalition to Boost Cyclist Visibility and Promote State-Required Nighttime Lighting
The City of West Hollywood will distribute free bike lights to riders later this month as part of an effort to improve nighttime cycling safety. The event, hosted in partnership with the West Hollywood Bicycle Coalition, is scheduled for Tuesday, Nov. 25, from 5 to 7 p.m. along both sides of Santa Monica Boulevard just east of North San Vicente Boulevard.
Cyclists who arrive with their bicycles will receive front and rear lights on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last. The pop-up will also include a water station, small giveaways, and information about the city’s ongoing mobility projects. Staff members will be available in English and Spanish
