The Department for Work and Pensions is axing a Personal Independence Payment benefit in the Autumn Budget, it has been revealed. Sky News has confirmed that premium vehicles will no longer be accessible to Motability users.
The Labour Party administration states that additional funding will instead support British manufacturers through these modifications. High-end marques including BMW and Mercedes are being eliminated as choices, along with brands such as Audi, Lexus, and Alfa Romeo, with "immediately" effect.
A statement from Motability declared: "In the short term, Motability Operations will work closely with UK-based manufacturers to increase the share of British-built vehicles
