3$2 million Powerball ticket sold at Richmond Wawa claimed anonymously
RICHMOND, VA – A lucky Maryland player has claimed a $2 million Powerball prize from the October 25 drawing, thanks to a ticket purchased at a Wawa in Richmond that matched the first five numbers but missed the Powerball.
The anonymous winner bought the ticket at the Wawa located at 7316 Forest Hill Avenue. While the standard prize for matching five numbers is $1 million, the player added the Power Play option for an extra dollar, doubling the win to $2 million.
The winning numbers drawn that night were 2, 12, 22, 39, and 67, with the Powerball number 15.
