After a short hiatus, the USDA NASS Crop Progress Report has been released for the last two weeks. No surprises — the report shows harvest is essentially wrapped up. Corn harvest is 98% complete, running slightly ahead of the five-year average. Soybean harvest wasn’t included this week but was listed at 96% complete in the November 17 report.

Wheat conditions in Ohio were reported at 62% good to excellent. Drought remains evident in topsoil moisture levels, with 35% rated short or very short and 61% rated adequate.
