The Nipawin Hawks are still in second place in the UPL Division as the season continues. The La Ronge Ice Wolves completed a lengthy southern road swing and the Melfort Mustangs were swept by the Flin Flon Bombers in a home-and-home last week.
As of Nov. 24, the Hawks are in second place in the UPL Division with a record of 13-6-1-0 with 27 points, four points behind the first place Flin Flon Bombers. The Mustangs are in third place with a record of 8-9-0-1 with 18 points and the Ice Wolves are in fourth place with a record of 5-13-2-1 with 14 points.
Nipawin closed their week with a 10-1 win over the Warman Wolverines in Warman on Saturday, Nov. 22.
The Hawks led 3-0 after the first period and 6-1 after the second period.
