Nebraska will try to extend the nation's longest active win streak when it hosts Winthrop on Tuesday night in a nonconference game in Lincoln, Neb.

The Cornhuskers (6-0) have won 10 in a row dating back to last season. Most recently, they swept through the Hall of Fame Classic in Kansas City by beating New Mexico and Kansas State, winning the latter game when they rallied from a two-point deficit in the final two minutes after squandering a 15-point lead.

"I'm really proud of how our guys handled adversity in both of these games," Nebraska coach Fred Hoiberg said.
