Scottish football fans will be warned of the dangers of pyro after the SPFL Trust launched a new education initiative. ‌

The charitable wing of the Scottish football ’s governing body has teamed up with a senior A&E consultant and UEFA expert to outline the risks of using flares at games. ‌

Hampden chiefs have been on a mission to clamp down on punters using pyro at games and both Celtic and Rangers were docked tickets for the Premier Sports Cup semi-final earlier this month after last season’s last four ties involving the Glasgow giants were held up due to smoke. ‌
