Conservative, grassroots organizer Kaycee Cavender has announced her run for Alabama House District 40.

"I am running for the State House because our families deserve a fighter who will protect our values, defend our freedoms, and ensure that Montgomery finally works for us ," Cavender said. "For too long, our district has sent hard-earned tax dollars to Montgomery without seeing a fair return. It's time we bring that money home, strengthen our local economy, and protect the way of life that makes Cleburne and Calhoun Counties so special."

Cavender, who co-founded Health Freedom Alabama in 2021 to champion a bill to ban vaccine passports, has continued to lead statewide initiatives for health freedom, parental rights, government accountability, and legislative transparency.
