EAST HARTFORD, CT (WFSB) - A multi-vehicle crash closed a street in East Hartford on Tuesday morning.

According to police, School Street was shutdown while police worked to clear the scene.

The crash happened around 7:20 a.m. on School Street near Prestige Park Road.

Police said three cars were involved, one of which rolled over.

The driver of the rolled over car needed extrication by the fire department, they said.

Police confirmed that one person was sent to the hospital as a result of the crash. There was no word on that person’s injuries.
