Trump’s Energy Secretary Chris Wright acknowledged on Fox News that electricity prices are continuing to rise. In an interview with Bret Baier, Wright said the administration expects “a stop in the rise of electricity prices” in the first half of 2026.
His comments came after Baier noted that while gas prices are roughly level with this time last year, electricity and gas service costs have continued climbing.
