Rick Burgess is back on the radio on Tuesday after a brief absence dealing with family matters.

Burgess had missed the Thursday, Friday and Monday broadcasts of "The Rick Burgess Show," asking for prayers because his family "desperately" needed him.

" Many of you have questions about my absence from the show," he wrote on his social media accounts. "The bottom line is, while the show and all the platforms connected are a huge responsibility and very important to me, however my family desperately needs me right now and they will always take priority.
