A Brit teen with a rare cancer had her life saved by blood taken from the umbilical cord of a baby born in Spain 12 years previously. Lyra Cassell, 20, underwent the unique transplant at age 16 following her diagnosis of precursor T-cell lymphoblastic leukaemia cancer.
