Fresh off his victory over Fact To File at Punchestown on Sunday, Gaelic Warrier tops the sponsor’s betting for the Boxing Day feature at Kempton
Willie Mullins’s latest Grade 1 winner heads the betting for the Ladbrokes King George VI Chase at Kempton on Boxing Day after there were 20 entries on Tuesday. Gaelic Warrior is the 6-4 favourite with the race sponsor following his defeat of Fact To File in the John Durkan Memorial Chase in a one-two for the stable.
Cheltenham Gold Cup winner Inothewayurthinkin and 2024 Grand National winner I Am Maximus finished down the field in the same race. Gaelic Warrior is one of ten Irish-trained entries which also include last year’s winner Banbridge, trained by Joseph O’Brien, in the £250,000 feature.
