While many retailers, restaurants and businesses will be closed on Thanksgiving , most will reopen — bright and early — on the most popular shopping day of the year.

Black Friday is Nov. 28, the day after Thanksgiving, and often marks the start of holiday shopping, with stores offering deals and discounts both online and in store. Almost two in three Americans (64%) say they plan to shop on Black Friday this year, according to a report by Lending Tree.
