SAN ANTONIO — One man is in custody and another remains on the run after officers caught two masked suspects breaking into mailboxes on the north side early Saturday morning, according to San Antonio Police.

The incident happened around midnight on Nov. 22 near the 1400 block of Patricia Drive, near West Avenue. According to a preliminary report, officers were called after reports of two masked individuals tampering with mailboxes.

When officers arrived, they spotted the two men walking out of the mailbox area. One suspect, identified as 39-year-old Orlando Castro, was detained without incident, while the second suspect ran from the scene and was not found.
