One in four children in our city face waking up to an empty Christmas this year – unless we can raise £5,000 to help.
That’s the warning from charity worker Geraldine Lennon, head of service at Medics Against Violence (MAV), who support people and families struggling with poverty, addiction, homelessness , domestic violence and much more.
The organisation is the focus of this year’s Christmas campaign from city hotel Radisson RED, once again in partnership with Glasgow Live, with the aim of ensuring every child in the city is warm, safe and happy on December 25.
