WARREN - Services are fully restored at the Trumbull County Recorder's Office following a cybersecurity breach that forced the office to offer limited services for over a week.
Trumbull County Recorder Dawn Zinni says as of Monday, November 24, the security breach issue has been resolved and the Recorder's Office is offering all of its services once more.
According to a press release from the Trumbull County Auditor's Office, the office was first made aware of the breach on Friday, November 14, and reported it to Ohio Homeland Security, which referred them to the County Risk Sharing Authority (CORSA).
From there, CORSA referred the office to cybersecurity firm GuidePoint Security LLC, which began to investigate the matter.
