In a recent post by Jon Heyman, he wrote, “Breaking: Sonny Gray traded to Red Sox.”

The Red Sox acquired Sonny Gray from the Cardinals with cash, completing negotiations. St. Louis received Brandon Clarke and Richard Fitts as their confirmed trade return. The deal followed Gray waiving his clause after seeking a more competitive situation.
