A 28-year-old woman is facing charges of assaulting a peace officer and refusing to provide a breath sample after allegedly crashing a vehicle carrying a three-year-old child on Tuesday morning.

According to police, officers were called to the area of Central Avenue and McOrmond Drive at around 3 a.m. for a single-vehicle crash.

“They located two females and a three-year-old child inside the vehicle, all uninjured,” the Saskatoon Police Service said in a statement.
