This is the adorable moment a fox and an otter were captured on CCTV playing together in a deserted city.

Camera operators in Lincoln were stunned when they spotted the pair frolicking around the city’s Brayford riverfront.

Footage shows them sniffing and chasing each other in scenes straight out of a Disney movie or John Lewis Christmas advert.

The pair was filmed at around 4 am on Tuesday on Nov. 18 and the video of their antics has attracted thousands of views online.

Writing on the City of Lincoln Council Facebook page, they said: " CCTV staff work 24/7, 365 days a year to keep Lincoln and all its inhabitants safe.

“They see families enjoying the city, friends making memories, and every now and then, an unlikely friendship blossoming.
