A Sarnia resident is charged with luring a person under the age of 16 in connection with an OPP child exploitation investigation.
The 35-year-old is charged with four counts of luring a person under the age of 16 after officers searched a Sarnia home Nov. 18 and seized electronic devices.
The arrest was made by the OPP child exploitation unit, Lambton OPP and Chatham-Kent police.
The accused was released following a bail hearing and is to appear Dec. 17 in Sarnia court.
“Online child sexual exploitation is a serious crime that harms the most vulnerable members of our community,” Staff Sgt. Chris Barkey, with the OPP unit, said in a news release.
