Rush Hour 4 is officially happening, and Donald Trump apparently had some involvement in getting the film in the works.
There had been on-and-off rumblings for years that the franchise could reboot, however, the film’s fate was called into question after director Bratt Ratner was accused of sexual harassment in 2017.
Variety is reporting that Paramount is now signed on and Donald Trump “personally requested the studio to revive the franchise.”
Ratner will be back for the fourth film as well. He has some connection to the Trump family, as he directed the Melania documentary .
