MILWAUKEE, Wis. (WBAY) - Democratic candidate Ryan Strnad announced Tuesday that he is ending his campaign for Wisconsin governor.
The Milwaukee Brewers beer vendor first announced his candidacy in August.
After an unsuccessful run for the Assembly as a Republican in 2000, Strnad switched parties to enter the 2026 Wisconsin gubernatorial election as a Democrat .
In his announcement to end his campaign on Tuesday, Strnad said he is supporting Milwaukee County Executive David Crowley , another Democrat candidate.
“I want to thank every person who supported this campaign,” Strnad said in a campaign email. “I ran to give working class families a voice and to deliver results for communities that have long been overlooked. I believe David Crowley is the candidate who can hit the grou
