CHANHASSEN, Minn. — An arctic air blast will bring a potent storm system across much of Minnesota by Tuesday evening, bringing heavy snow to early Thanksgiving travelers.
A winter storm warning is in effect starting Tuesday afternoon and continuing through Wednesday for central and much of southern Minnesota, according to the National Weather Service in the Twin Cities. Cities included in the warning are Willmar, Marshall, Morris, St. Cloud, Alexandria, Fergus Falls, Brainerd, Duluth and International Falls. A winter weather advisory is in effect for the southern edge of Minnesota, from Worthington to Albert Lea.
