SPARTANBURG, S.C. (FOX Carolina) - The South Carolina Department of Public Health (DPH) has a new update on Upstate measles outbreak.

Officials said there are three new cases in Spartanburg County. Two of which were household members of known cases and the third is still being investigated.

This brings the total numbers of cases in the Upstate outbreak to 55 and the total number reported to DPH this year to 58.

The DPH said one public exposure was identified at the Spartanburg County Treasurer’s Office at 366 North Church Street on Nov. 17-18 during the hours the office was open. Potentially exposed individuals should monitor for symptoms through Dec. 9.

As of Tuesday, officials said there are are 136 people in quarantine and two in isolation.
