Rachel Murphy says that she decided to pursue a career in the field of law because she had a love of reading, writing and talking, and wanted to use her skills to help people navigate the complexity of the legal system. She began her career as an entertainment lawyer and said that early on, she had a mentor that taught her the art of drafting contract language that’s clear, concise and elegant without excessive jargon.
Leading up to today, Murphy’s experience includes working for seven years as an assistant attorney general for the Illinois Attorney General’s Office, Civil Appeals Division, and for three years as a commercial litigation attorney for Andersen Banducci PLLC.
