Democrats in Congress are urging Gov. Katie Hobbs to consider placing limits on how Arizona uses a law enforcement program that has been sharing drivers’ data with federal immigration authorities as they work to implement President Donald Trump’s mass deportation campaign.

The letter, spearheaded by Oregon Democratic U.S. Sen. Ron Wyden, and signed by 40 congressional Democrats, warned the governors of Arizona, California, Colorado and Wisconsin, among many others, of possible privacy implications surrounding their participation in a program commonly referred to as Nlets.
